It has been brought to our attention that there are companies with names that are similar to, and/or variations of, the name ‘Violet Rose’ that only sell on-line.

We have had several calls (and even ‘returned’ merchandise) from customers of these companies, saying that they cannot contact them to return their unwanted products.

We do not currently sell on line and have no connection with these companies. We have always maintained a physical presence on the High Street having been trading there for  the last 15 years.

We would urge everyone to please be extra careful when buying from any company without a pedigree or a physical presence. Ideally they should also publish a telephone number, as well as an address, to react to urgent customer problems.

• Otherwise it is very much ‘Buyer Beware’ in what can only be described as an on-line lottery.

Our ethos, in both our Southwell and Uppingham stores, is one that incorporates Customer Service as a primary target.
